The hiatus is at last over. It’s time to get dramatic people! Whether it’s a night of razzle-dazzle you’ve been achingly waiting for, or a liberating escapade into another world, the world’s best theatre district is back.

It’s a really difficult decision. After 18 months of enforced empty stages, which show will be your first post-pandemic treat?

Of course, the classic favourites have returned. Les Misérables boasts its new staging at the renamed Sondheim Theatre. Not to be outdone, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera has also received a spruce up, with a new set of its own… plus (rumour has it), a new chandelier. Both well worth seeing. Again.

But we think it’s worth grabbing tickets to a show you’ve never seen before and letting yourself be enveloped in an unknown world.

We’ve got phenomenal prices for the best seats in the West End, so what’s on tonight?

BEST MUSICAL TO SEE THIS MONTH

Now is a really meaningful time to experience Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre. Twenty years ago this month, 9/11 gained a new and terrible meaning. The world was – as one – in shock.

In this unlikely musical, Irene Sankoff and David Hein retell the events of 9/11 from the perspective of a group of passengers whose flight was rerouted to the small town of Gander in Newfoundland, Canada.

Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster that will have your spirits soaring, crashing, and soaring once more. This musical is theatre gold.

THE LONGEST RUNNING SHOW IN THE WORLD CONTINUES

If you haven’t seen Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap you really must. This show is part of global theatre history as the longest running production in the entire world. Until the Covid-19 pandemic it hadn’t missed a performance since opening in 1952.

Be inducted into West End legend by trying to solve the murder mystery before all is revealed at the end of the show. Write down your guilty guess in the interval and discover if you have a career as a Private Detective ahead of you.

The Mousetrap returns to St Martin’s Theatre, close to Covent Garden. For the best seats, choose the centre of the Dress Circle.

If you love The Mousetrap, Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution is on at London County Hall, set in a real courtroom - talk about immersive theatre…

FABULOUS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

London Theatre Tickets

You know what everybody’s talking about? Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. What a stomping feel-good spectacular. Full of modern pop vibes, sequins, sass and pumped full of triumph.

London Theatre Tickets

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is a musical based on the real-life experiences of sixteen-year-old Jamie New, who overcomes his bullies and becomes the star that he was born to be.

You’ll need to be quick though – Jamie’s taking a break from his West End run at the end of September and won’t be back until next year.

Want to really feel part of the juicy action? Sit right in the heart of the stalls and resist the urge to jump up and join the dancing!

Enjoy the show!
